The Board of Directors of Legacy Haven Academy Foundation held its rescheduled Strategy Meeting on Friday, July 10, 2026. The meeting was called to order at approximately 10:00 a.m. EDT.

ATTENDANCE

A quorum was present. (Specific attendee list maintained in internal records for privacy.)

CALL TO ORDER AND APPROVALS

The Chair called the meeting to order. The agenda was approved as presented (with the addition of the Student Observer item under New Business). Minutes of prior meetings were reviewed and approved as applicable.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS

Item 1: Structural Reorganization – The “Fortress Model”

The Board discussed and voted on the proposed Parent-Subsidiary structure for Legacy Haven Academy Foundation, including Legacy Haven University and Legacy Haven Books as for-profit subsidiaries to provide sustainable funding. The motion passed unanimously.

Item 2: Field Trip Logistics Policy

Discussion of the proposed mileage-based transportation policy for Academy field trips (112–140 personnel). The item requires additional work on a sustenance (meals/logistics support) plan and was tabled for redressing at the next Board meeting.

Item 3: Detailed Roadmap for Legacy Haven University (Contingent)

Following affirmative action on Item 1, the Board reviewed the comprehensive 5-phase roadmap for establishing Legacy Haven University as a regionally accredited online institution. The motion to approve in principle and direct initiation of Phase I passed.

NEW BUSINESS

Item 4: Student Observer Participation

The Board approved a policy to invite future Academy students to attend Board meetings as non-voting observers, with opportunities to present ideas and issues over time. The motion passed.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:45 a.m. EDT. The next meeting date will be scheduled and noticed in due course.
