Key Responsibilities

  • Manage data system cybersecurity operations, including internal-only server, MFA, and DLP tools (AC-4, SC-28).
  • Conduct annual third-party audits of data systems, review logs weekly (CA-2, AU-6).
  • Handle cyber incident responses, including FERPA breach notifications to parental/guardians/DCS (IR-4, IR-9).
  • Oversee IAM system and RBAC policies (AC-2).
  • Ensure secure data flows (e.g., assessment data to clinicians) and encryption (AES-256, TLS 1.3; SC-8, AU-9).
  • Coordinate cybersecurity training with Training Coordinator (AT-2, AT-3).

Qualifications

  • Armed Security Guard Registration (ARS ยง32-2624); 16-hour firearms training, 8-hour annual refresher.
  • DPS/FBI background check; DCS/APS checks.
  • 2+ years cybersecurity experience; NIST SP 800-53 training.
  • Leadership and crisis negotiation skills.
