Key Responsibilities
- Lead one of 6 primary groups (A-F) or reserve group (G) during 8-hour shifts (4 hours patrol, 4 hours QRF).
- Conduct alertness assessments and micro-breaks; report fatigue concerns.
- Supervise patrol (perimeter checks, data system component monitoring) and QRF training (tactical/cyber drills).
- Ensure de-escalation and child-focused responses; protect PII during incidents (IR-4).
- Document incidents, use-of-force, and detentions (ARS §13-3884); coordinate with law enforcement.
- Verify equipment (PPE, firearms, data system devices) and readiness (SC-35).
Qualifications
- Armed Security Guard Registration (ARS §32-2624).
- Background checks (DPS/FBI, DCS/APS); no disqualifiers.
- Rapid-response and cybersecurity training (Section 4); proficiency in tactical movement, breach/entry, and data protection.
- Leadership and communication skills; calm demeanor for youth.
