Key Responsibilities
- Develop/deliver training programs (unarmed: 8 hours pre-assignment, 40 hours on-job; armed: additional 16 hours initial, 8 hours annual; rapid-response and cybersecurity: Section 4).
- Schedule QRF training (4 hours/shift, including rigorous drills) and cybersecurity training (AT-2, AT-3).
- Ensure compliance with DPS (70% pass rate; AAC R13-6-603) and ADE SSP requirements.
- Maintain 5-year (physical) and 7-year (cyber) training records; verify instructor qualifications (AU-11).
- Coordinate psychological evaluations and mental conditioning.
Qualifications
- DPS-registered instructor certification.
- Armed Security Guard Registration; rapid-response and cybersecurity training proficiency.
- Background checks (DPS/FBI, DCS/APS).
- Experience in tactical, firearms, de-escalation, and NIST-based training.
